Effective productivity (Dev tips)

In a world of numerous distractions and relentless chiming, staying focused and effectively productive in carrying out tasks as a developer becomes vital and indispensable.
Here are some of my top tips to maximize productivity and become more efficient in your daily code-dev life.

Let's get to it.
1. Exercise: Yeah sounds a little off-beat for some, but regular exercise (15 - 20 mins every morning) in my view really causes a big energy change and is a great productivity boost. Give it a try!

2. Task listing/ prioritization: I have found this to be one of the most superb ways of increasing productivity. Yes, taking just about 10 - 30 mins just before or when starting with your work gives your brain a clear idea of what you could and would like to achieve by the end of the day.

3. Deep focus/concentration: Find what works for you mostly, something you can do to inhibit any distractions(internal or external) while working on your tasks. Music over noise cancellation headphones have proven to be my thing as I could just hit a playlist and zone out completely with optimal focus to solve what I have at hand before pausing..., fyi doesn't work for everybody.

4. Taking a break: Yes, talk about pausing, this has proven to be very effective in bolstering productivity, especially around complex mental tasks. Over experience, I realized this tip has proven core critical. Now, depending on your attention span, cause it varies with individuals, taking pauses (short pauses <5 -10 mins> allows your brain to recharge.) while working on simple-to-complex tasks increases your effectiveness and general productivity at the end of the day.

5. Hydration: Wrapping up, I believe this is the most important tip for the day, not only because it enhances productivity but also because of the associated health benefits. Staying hydrated (Hβ‚‚0 does it for me) constantly when working on tasks is just that extra juice the brain needs to top your productivity.

Finally, before going, you must remember that consistency seats beneath it all. Your average productivity will soar when you can discipline yourself to observe what you have planned out.
Thanks for reading, hope this helps.
