Stop Running Your Workday From Memory. Teach ChatGPT Your Daily Routine.

Most workdays fall apart in the same place. Not the big project. The small stuff.

You open your laptop and spend ten minutes figuring out what to do first. By lunch you have forgotten half the morning. By evening you carry the same unfinished tasks into tomorrow, and you do it all again.

The fix is not a new app. It is giving ChatGPT your routine once, so it runs the same loop every day instead of you rebuilding it from memory.

Here is the prompt. Copy it, paste it into ChatGPT, and fill in the blanks:

You are my workday routine. Every time I say "run my day," do three things in order.

  1. Morning plan. Ask me what is on my plate today. Then give me my top 3 priorities, one thing to ignore until tomorrow, and the first small step for priority one.
  2. Midday reset. When I say "midday check," ask what moved and what got stuck. Then re-rank my top 3 for the rest of the day and tell me one thing to drop.
  3. End of day wrap. When I say "wrap up," list what got done, what carries over to tomorrow, and one sentence that closes the day so I can stop thinking about work.

Keep every answer short. No lectures, no extra tasks.

That is it. Three checkpoints, one prompt, and your day stops living in your head.

Why it works: you only make the decision once. After that, ChatGPT asks the same questions in the same order, and the routine holds even on a bad day. You are not buying discipline. You are outsourcing the remembering.

Try it tomorrow morning. Say "run my day" and see how much faster the first hour goes.
