Want to Join the Top 1%? Accelerate Your Business Skills with This Habit

According to a survey conducted by the National Endowment for the Arts, it's evident that each year, there is a declining trend in the number of books people read. The survey highlighted three key findings:

  • Americans are dedicating less time to reading.
  • Reading comprehension abilities are diminishing.
  • These declines are posing significant civic, social, cultural, and economic concerns.

What Makes Successful Leaders Successful

Bill Gates co-founder of Microsoft, reads 50 books in a year. He shared the reviews of his books on his blog, Gates Notes.

In one of the interviews with the New York Times, he mentioned that reading is the chief way of learning.

It is one of the chief ways that I learn, and has been since I was a kid. These days, I also get to visit interesting places, meet with scientists and watch a lot of lectures online. But reading is still the main way that I both learn new things and test my understanding.

Reed Hastings, the co-founder and CEO of Netflix,
has dedicated time to reading and is an advocate for educational efforts, believing that continuous learning is a key driver behind personal and professional growth.
