Volunteer Developer – Palettea (Remote, US/Canada)

Tired of subscription traps controlling creative tools? Palettea is an open-source, cross-platform art app that puts artists first—and we’re looking for talented developers to help build it. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end or back-end components.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a remote, creative team.
• Own features end-to-end, from design to implementation.
• Communicate clearly in English with team members and contributors.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in one or more of the following:
  • Frontend: React, Vue, or similar frameworks
  • Backend: Node.js, Python, or equivalent
  • Cross-Platform: Flutter, Electron, or similar
• Able to work remotely from the US or Canada.
• Clear English-language communication skills.
• Passion for open-source projects and empowering artists.
