Web Dev Tools of the Week (No. 1)

I write a newsletter covering tools for front-end and full-stack developers called Web Tools Weekly.

You can read the full issue here: Web Tools Weekly #527

This week I picked a few of my favourites from the issue to share with those on Dev.to...

Stashpad (sponsored)

Once in a while I do a paid review of a product, usually something related to web development or tech. This week's issue has a full review on Stashpad, a nicely designed and easy-to-use note-taking app, available on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.

It has a dev-friendly UI that I'm sure you'll love.

jsPlumb

This is an open-source TypeScript library that lets you 'visually connect DOM elements', so you can build flowcharts, schemas, and more. Check out examples here.

OddContrast

There are lots of contrast checkers available but this one is unique because it integrates modern CSS color formats like Oklch, sRGB, Lab, p3, and more.

You can use the tool interactively right on the page to check color combos for WCAG compliance.

Vue-Preloader

If you're a Vue developer, you'll love this component that lets you include animated loaders in your Vue projects. The website allows you to fiddle around with the different settings for the loaders, then you can preview any loader you create.
