If you are using Windows and want to learn Linux, Zorin OS can be a good starting point.
Some interesting features:
- Familiar desktop environment & user experience
- Possible to run many Windows apps (by using WineHQ).
- It's free.
So if you are interested in Linux, I suggest trying Zorin OS alongside your current OS or in a virtual machine.
P.S. OnWorks lets you test various OSes online. It's slow and time-limited but worth trying once.
