In general Websites are overloaded with trackers, ads and bad written js, that even with a fast connection and decent hardware the page need ages to load and render. It is the norm that a page has 8 MB or more to load for a simple recipe list. Also the trend to put everything in an electron instance and call it a "nativ" app blowing my mind.
