Amazon Web Services (AWS)’ 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 enables customers to support applications with 𝙣𝙚𝙖𝙧-𝙯𝙚𝙧𝙤 recovery time objective (𝙍𝙏𝙊) requirements.
𝘾𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙧𝙪𝙣 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙨 in multiple Regions, in a multi-site active/active manner, and serve traffic from all Regions. To do so, 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞-𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙋𝙄𝙨 for use by the applications.
Using Amazon Web Services (AWS) 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙡 (𝘼𝙒𝙎 𝙎𝘼𝙈), we could implement a 𝙈𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞-𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘼𝙋𝙄 using API Gateway with 𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢 𝙙𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨.
This approach 𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨 to:
(1) make their internal applications and 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩,
(2) 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙧𝙪𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, and
(3) meet their 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤 objectives.
