From Building Apps to Building Better Systems — My Journey as a React Native Developer

I’m a React Native Developer with 4+ years of experience building cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. Over the years, I’ve worked on products across real estate, e-commerce, logistics, and multi-service platforms — and the journey has been full of learning, challenges, and growth.
When I started, my focus was just on making things work. But over time, I realized that writing code is just one part of the job — building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems is what truly matters.
💡 What I’ve learned along the way:
Performance is everything
Optimizing renders, managing state efficiently, and handling large datasets can make or break user experience.
Reusable architecture saves time (and sanity)
Moving towards modular components and scalable architecture helped me reduce code duplication and speed up development.
Real-world apps are messy
Integrating third-party SDKs, handling edge cases, and debugging production issues taught me more than any tutorial ever could.
User experience > everything else
Smooth, responsive, and intuitive UI always wins.
