1 line of code: How to lower case a string

const toLowerCase = str => str.split(" ").map((m) => ${m.charAt(0).toLowerCase()}${m.slice(1)}`).join(" ");
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Returns a new string in lower case. Uses spaces as delimiter.

Sorry, I think I am confused. why not call the toLowerCase() function? str.toLowerCase()?
