So many projects! So little time! Ahh, The Essentials..

Pheeww! The thing about life is, there is so much to do! So many things competing for your attention. All the situations and scenarios that grab and eat your time, come at the cost of not finishing the projects that are personally and professionally interesting, much sooner. At times this is unavoidable. Other times, well, you got to be ruthless and target the essentials.

So lately, I have attempted to trim down the bullshits (i.e, worthless projects) and focus more on the essentials, my "essentials". This morning while jogging, I was listening to an old episode of a particular podcast I follow [https://syntax.fm/show/009/dang-that-s-handy-javascript-utility-libraries] and one of the hosts touched a little about this topic which resonated with me. This kind of inspired me to write about this topic here today, and as a reminder, to costantly keep asking oneself "is what I am doing essential?".

'Wes Bos' who is one of the cool hosts even recommended a particular book on essantialism, an indication that, selecting what is essential each day is a universal challenge. By the way, do I want to read the recommended book? Nope! Time-poverty is currently my friend ! However, I identify with this subject matter.

How to laser on the projects that one deem "essentials" is a skill (which I am still learning, and will forever keep learning!), it requires courage, costant vigilance.

I have too many interests, a curious mind, a weakness for great books..

Dante Alighieri has been my constant companion lately while covering:

MySQL
APIs
Mobile APPs
Python

Marching on to...BOOTSTRAP. I will be covering this subject in more detail and create a personal project on it.
