THE ANTI-AI SPIRAL
Look, I get it. You poured your time, your effort, your soul into something real.
You worked with what you had — maybe feathers, petals, fabric, a half-lit apartment and a few friends who believed in you.
Then some rando runs your work through an AI model and posts the result like it’s magic.
“Look what AI can do!” And yeah, it stings.
But now what? You’re gonna stop? You’re gonna fold because the machine can imitate the surface of what you do?
Nah. Get over it. Get back to work.
AI Didn’t Live It
It didn’t sit through the silence after a hundred rejections.
It didn’t shoot in a cramped room hoping the light would hold.
It didn’t tape petals to a model one by one, praying it would come together.
AI doesn’t create.
It replicates. It samples. It predicts.
You? You chose. You felt. You committed.
That’s art. That’s the part AI can’t touch.
Pain Isn’t a Plan
Let’s stop mistaking frustration for strategy.
Crying about how “AI can do this now” isn’t a rebellion — it’s just noise.
You want to take back control? Then make something AI can’t do.
Something that lives, something that hurts, something that contradicts itself.
Something human.
Not slick. Not perfect. But undeniably yours.
If It’s That Easy to Copy, Maybe It Wasn’t That Hard to Begin With
Yeah, I said it.
If what you’re doing can be re-prompted in 30 seconds and looks
identical… was it really that deep?
You can talk all day about effort and memory and emotion — but if none of that shows up in the final result, then what are we even defending?
This is your wake-up call:
If you don’t want to be replaced, then be irreplaceable.
Stop Feeding the Thieves
Every time you quote-tweet the AI version of your own work with some wounded monologue, you’re not reclaiming your art — you’re amplifying theirs.
You’re giving free promo to the thief.
Silence them by out-creating them.
Make work so bold, so risky, so intimate that AI breaks trying to keep up.
This Is the Moment You Evolve
This isn’t the end of artistry. It’s the filter.
The lazy will quit.
The bitter will complain.
The real ones will adapt, sharpen, deepen.
Because the ones who make it aren’t the ones who avoid being copied — they’re the ones who can’t be caught.
So yeah, AI exists. So what?
You’re not here because it was easy. You’re here because it was yours.
So if you’ve got something to say — say it louder.
And if you’re gonna make something — make it unrepeatable.
Get over it. Get back to work.
