Finding the right MCP server shouldn’t take an afternoon of reading READMEs. mcp.tc is a free, independent directory of around a thousand MCP servers, from hosted services you sign in to with one click to local tools you run on your own machine.
Every server has its own page at a link that’s easy to remember and share: mcp.tc/i/ followed by the server’s name. The page tells you in plain words what the server does, which tools it gives your assistant, and whether you need to sign in, add an API key or install something locally.
Setup takes seconds. Pick your client (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Devin Desktop, Codex, Gemini CLI and more) and mcp.tc gives you a one-click button or a command ready to paste. Your client then connects straight to the server: mcp.tc only shows you the way, so your data, tokens and keys stay between you and the service you use.
Browse by category, search by name or by what you want to get done, and filter for servers that need no sign-in or that run locally. You don’t need an account, and the public site sets no cookies.
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live and checked again every day, so broken servers don’t linger. A verified checkmark shows which servers are run by the company behind them.
Run an MCP server? Claim your listing, keep it up to date, see how many people view it and add a badge to your README.
Building an agent? mcp.tc has its own MCP server and a public API, so your tools can search the directory too.
Available in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish.
