Introducing MITCO: Simplifying Transport Services in India
As a transport company with years of on-ground experience, we saw a huge gap in how small businesses and individuals manage logistics in India — especially when it comes to real-time tracking, instant booking, and accessible information.
That’s why we built MITCO, a user-friendly mobile app (available on Apple App Store) that lets users book, track, and manage their transport needs in just a few taps.

In India, logistics services are often manual, opaque, and difficult to track. Customers and companies face challenges like:
No visibility on vehicle location
Manual booking and communication
No digital record of past deliveries

Built natively for iOS, MITCO uses Swift and Firebase for real-time data syncing and push notifications, ensuring the experience is smooth and responsive.
🛠️ Tech Stack
Here’s a quick overview of what powers MITCO:
Frontend: Swift (iOS)
Backend: Firebase (Realtime DB + Auth)
Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
Map & GPS: Apple Maps + CoreLocation
Analytics: Firebase + custom event tracking
We kept the app lightweight to ensure it performs well even in low-network areas, which is common in many Indian regions.
🧠 Lessons Learned
Build with the end-user in mind. Our target audience isn't just tech-savvy users, so UI/UX had to be dead simple.
Test in real-world conditions. We beta-tested with transport drivers and office managers in cities like Delhi and Jaipur.
Always iterate. We’re adding new features like e-POD (proof of delivery), payment integration, and multi-language support.
