Time seems to have sped up for me after becoming a developer advocate a little over 3 years ago. Interestingly, I have been asked quite a few times about what a developer advocate is and what s/he does. Last time I got asked this question was right after I got home from the wonderful conference in Kansas City:

What is a developer advocate??
I will definitely share with you a longer version of what I believe a developer advocate is, but for now, here's my TL;DR response:
