So here is the story.
Back in August/September, I had a 2 week freelance gig. After the work was done, I had to get paid, so they asked for an invoice.
But I was not prepared, because I had not freelance for long time ago...over 2 years more or less, and had no setup to make invoice.
So what did I do? Well like another human would, Googled “invoice generator” After going through all the sketchy ones I found one, it looked clean and useful.
The issue? The preview looked perfect, but the PDF they generated had a massive QR code and a bunch of promo links slapped at the bottom. didn’t notice, because the preview hid it. I sent it anyway. That’s on me. Two days later I opened the PDF…
Too late to fix it.
