Quick verdict

Best for: Solo freelancers and very small businesses with straightforward invoicing and bookkeeping needs that can work without automatic bank feeds.

Not ideal for: Businesses that depend on predictable access to processed payment funds or quick, responsive support when an account issue arises.

Starting price: Free Starter plan; US Pro is $19/month or $190/year per business

Key strength: Starter provides unlimited invoicing and basic bookkeeping at no subscription cost, making it a practical fit for simple, low-volume workflows.

Key weakness: Some recent Trustpilot reviewers report payment holds, cancellation difficulty, payroll filing problems, and slow support.

Overall rating: 6.5/10

Good point on the free tier working only if you're OK without automatic bank feeds. For anyone in that spot, monthly CSV uploads are fine, but if your bank only gives PDFs for older months, check that each month's closing balance matches after import before you trust the P&L. (I'm working on a PDF-statement-to-categorized-Excel tool myself, still early, so take that as a biased but honest tip.)

thanks for the tip. Your PDF-to-Excel tool sounds like a useful solution for people dealing with older statements. Good luck with the development!

Thanks Mike! The older-statement case is exactly what got me started. Bank feeds only go back about 90 days, so anyone catching up on last year ends up stuck with PDFs. Still early, but happy to share what I learn.

It's appreciated, I'll make sure to note it in case anybody asks.
