A step-by-step setup guide for the US, Canada, Japan and Singapore, including the 48-hour invite rule most people miss.
Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. It goes beyond answering questions: it can write and summarize, plan, search the web, work with your calendar and email, and carry out multi-step tasks for you. It launched in the United States on September 8, 2026, then Canada (September 18), Japan (October 23) and Singapore (October 28). If you live in one of those four countries, here is how to set it up properly — and how to start with 1 billion free tokens instead of zero.
Step 1 — Install Muse
Download the Muse app from Google Play or the App Store, or use the web version at muse.ai.
Step 2 — Create your account
Sign up with a valid email address and complete the email verification.
Step 3 — Age verification
Muse is for adults (18+). If a payment card is requested for age verification and yours is not accepted, you can verify your age through an Instagram or Facebook account instead — as long as the birth date on that account matches your real age.
Step 4 — Redeem the invite code within 48 hours (do not skip this)
This is the step most people miss: an invite code can only be entered within 48 hours of creating your account. After that, the option is gone for good.
- In the mobile app: Settings → Redeem token
- On the web: Settings → General → Usage → Redeem invite code
Use this code: QT4A9V
Full disclosure: this is my personal invite code. If you redeem it in time, you get 1 billion free Muse tokens — and so do I. The tokens are spent only inside Muse, they cannot be transferred or cashed out, and they never expire.
Step 5 — Start with a real task
Give Muse something concrete: summarize a long document, plan a week, draft and send an email, or research a topic. That is where it stops feeling like a chatbot and starts feeling like an assistant.
