Why I Built a Browser-Based Scientific Calculator Instead of Using an App

There are countless scientific calculator apps available today, but I kept running into the same problem. Most of them required installation, displayed too many ads, or felt unnecessarily complicated for everyday use.
I wanted something different—a calculator that opens instantly in a browser, works on any device, and provides all the essential scientific functions without getting in the way.
That idea led me to build the Monkza Scientific Calculator.
It includes the features that students, developers, engineers, and anyone working with mathematics regularly expect to have: trigonometric functions, logarithms, exponents, powers, roots, factorials, permutations, combinations, and more. Instead of trying to pack in every possible feature, the goal was to create a tool that feels fast, clean, and intuitive.
Another important goal was accessibility. Since it's entirely web-based, there's nothing to install. Whether you're on a desktop, tablet, or smartphone, you can simply open the page and start calculating immediately.
Building small utility tools often teaches an important lesson: simplicity is harder to achieve than complexity. A calculator should help you focus on solving problems—not on figuring out how to use the interface.
