Developers don’t talk about this enough …

I feel like developers don’t talk about this enough …

The dreaded first impression that fuels our imposter syndrome from a bad Interview.

You show up to your interview … you are way too nervous, you perform badly on the test. Before you know it, you are out.

The first impression you left behind is that you are stupid. After that, you spend the rest of your day/weeks/even months trying to become smarter.

How did you overcome that feeling?

What words did you tell yourself to remind yourself that you are amazing.

The key is to understand that the tech interview process is stupid.
So when your are rejected - who never feels good -
it is usually not because you lack programming skills to the job.
