NatureAI is a nature education web application designed to help people explore the natural world through technology. Users can select a category—such as birds, plants, insects, or other animals—and describe an observation to receive educational information.

The project aims to encourage curiosity about biodiversity, responsible wildlife observation, and environmental conservation.

Current status

The web interface and Flask application run locally. The AI integration is implemented, but live AI responses are currently limited by the Hugging Face account's exhausted inference credits. Demo mode provides a clearly labelled fixed educational response instead.

Future improvements

• Integrate an accessible AI inference provider.
• Support image-based nature observations.
• Improve accessibility and mobile usability.
• Add automated tests and conservation resources.

Goal: Make learning about nature more accessible while promoting responsible interaction with the environment.
