Singapore Airlines (SIA) has appointed Aswin K as its new GM, India, effective August 1, 2026. He succeeds Sy Yen Chen, who held the position for more than five years and played a key role in strengthening the airline’s presence in the Indian market.
In his new role, Aswin will oversee Singapore Airlines’ operations across India and lead the carrier’s growth strategy in one of its key international markets. He will also focus on strengthening relationships with travel trade partners, customers and other industry stakeholders across the country.
