Browser Extension to Fight Climate Change

Ecosia is a search engine that fights climate change by planting a trees. Every ~45 searches is a tree planted. They have planted over 123 million trees.

I created browser extensions that counts how many you have personally planted. For Chrome and for Firefox.

After the extension is installed it looks like this:

I use Ecosia as my main search engine. It is not always as good as Google. But many times I have found new and interesting GitHub repos that Google doesn't find with the same search queries. So it is definitely a valid primary search engine.
