Exploring the Growing MCP Hosting Ecosystem

Over the past few months, I've noticed the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem growing at an incredible pace. New MCP servers, AI integrations, and developer tools seem to appear every week, making it easier to connect AI assistants with real-world applications.

One thing I found challenging, though, was keeping track of where these MCP servers can be hosted and what different providers offer. The information is often spread across GitHub repositories, documentation, blog posts, and community discussions.

While looking around, I came across this community-maintained directory:

https://github.com/mikelavrik/mcp-hosting-providers

It's not an official list, but it does a nice job of bringing together hosting providers, documentation, capabilities, and implementation status in one place. If you're exploring MCP or comparing deployment options, it's a handy reference to bookmark.

As the ecosystem continues to evolve, community-driven resources like this can make it a little easier to discover new projects and stay up to date.
