Salesforce Agentforce Coworker: A $50 AI Teammate That Works Inside Teams

Most workplace AI waits for you to ask it something. Salesforce's Agentforce Coworker, expanded 5 November 2026, flips that around: it's an AI teammate you hand work to, and it plans the steps, coordinates the right agents, and brings back results for review. Salesforce reports more than 185,000 users and 21x usage growth in three months.

I wrote the full breakdown on NeurAITool — here's the business-relevant core.

What's new

  • Microsoft Teams integration (generally available November 2026) — hand Coworker a job inside a Teams conversation, with the same Salesforce context, permissions, and governance.
  • Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connectivity (live now) — emails, calendars, and files around every account pair with Salesforce data for meeting briefs and renewal plans.
  • Skills (live now) — reusable workflows: a proven renewal playbook becomes a one-line request the whole team can use.
  • Conversation History (live now) — pick up where you left off across Salesforce, Teams, and the new apps.
  • iOS, Mac, and Windows apps (generally available November 2026), plus a Coworker MCP server — Coworker can also be used in Claude and ChatGPT through MCP.

The pricing shift

The new standalone Coworker licence costs $50 per user per month, including all Coworker searches and 30 MB of indexing per user per month. That's the predictable middle ground between the $5 basic Agentforce User Licence (plus Flex Credits) and usage-based Flex Credits at $500 per 100,000 credits or $2 per conversation. For a team delegating daily, fixed pricing removes the fear of a runaway usage bill. For occasional users, the metered routes are likely cheaper — and remember the $50 sits on top of existing Salesforce cloud licences.

What it actually does

Salesforce's example: a seller with a renewal at risk. Coworker pulls together service history, flags unresolved cases, prepares customer follow-up, and coordinates the supported actions — then returns the package for the seller to review. The pattern is delegate, coordinate, review: the human stays in the loop, the AI does the gathering and drafting.

What's still coming

Scheduled tasks and a Daily Digest arrive in December 2026 — the features that make Coworker proactive rather than reactive. And the honest caveats: the adoption numbers are self-reported by Salesforce, there's no independent benchmark of delegated-work quality yet, and the value scales with how much of your business already lives in Salesforce.
