Introducing NeuroSwarm: A Browser-Based Network for Distributed AI Compute

Neurolov’s flagship innovation, NeuroSwarm, is a decentralized compute grid that runs directly in the browser. By using WebGPU and Solana, it enables everyday devices—from smartphones to laptops—to contribute to real AI workloads such as inference, image generation, and video processing.

How NeuroSwarm Works

NeuroSwarm turns the browser into a lightweight compute node. Under the hood:

  1. A device connects at [swarm.neurolov.ai].
  2. The browser executes GPU or CPU tasks securely via WebGPU.
  3. Results are verified through a Proof of Computation (PoC) protocol.
  4. Contributions are recorded and rewarded using Neurolov’s NLOV on Solana.

This architecture lowers the barriers to participation—no installations, extensions, or prior blockchain knowledge required.

NLOV as Utility Layer

NLOV functions as the coordination token across Neurolov’s ecosystem. Its technical roles include:

  • Compute payments: Developers use NLOV to access GPU cycles and AI tools.
  • Staking for priority: Nodes can stake to increase their scheduling priority.
  • Governance: Token holders can vote on platform parameters and upgrades.
  • Access control: Some premium AI Studio features and APIs are token-gated.

Early Adoption Metrics

As of launch milestones, NeuroSwarm has achieved:

  • 10,000+ devices connected across laptops, phones, and desktops.
  • 1.22 million TFLOPs of compute generated by the community.
  • 1.5M+ AI images processed daily.
  • 30+ partner integrations into the ecosystem.

These metrics highlight the feasibility of browser-based distributed compute at scale.

Positioning in the DePIN Landscape

Neurolov belongs to a broader class of DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) projects. While Helium decentralized bandwidth and Filecoin decentralized storage, Neurolov focuses on GPU compute.

Key differentiators include:

  • Browser-native participation → No specialized hardware required.
  • Cross-device support → Mobile, desktop, and GPU rigs can all join.
  • AI-first workloads → Contributions directly power AI applications rather than abstract puzzles.

Why It Matters

Centralized GPU providers are expensive and limited in accessibility. By distributing workloads across millions of devices, NeuroSwarm offers:

  • A developer-friendly marketplace for affordable compute.
  • A participation model where contributors support real AI infrastructure.
  • A path toward democratizing access to AI resources globally.
