I used to roll my eyes every time someone said, "AI will change everything for developers."

Okay, real talk.
Like... sure. Whatever.

Then I actually started using it daily. And honestly? I get it now.

Here's my honest experience as a developer:

  • I spend way less time googling the same stuff over and over
  • Debugging feels less like pulling my hair out
  • I can prototype ideas stupid fast
  • I actually enjoy coding more because I'm doing the fun parts

Did it replace me? Nope.
Did it make me lazier? Also nope.

It just... cleared the noise. So I can focus on the things that actually matter — like building stuff that works and makes sense.

AI didn't make me a worse developer. It made me a more focused one.

Honestly, the developers I see struggling aren't the ones competing with AI.
They're the ones pretending it doesn't exist.

AI isn't your replacement. It's your unfair advantage.
Use it.
