I think I might have misunderstood the initial objective of the TMP after barely passing the assessment with the most basic code. Code so basic that I was pleasantly surprised when I was actually picked. However, it is said everything happens for a reason and I was not going to let this chance go to waste. There was a lot more expected of me than I thought there would be with the career side, German side and biggest of all, the project. I had barely begun to break in basic JavaScript, so imagine jumping from that straight to ReactJs and APIs. Thanks to some very good advice from my project lead, I was able to get started and at least have something to show and work on. It has been and will continue to be challenging, but I am also learning a lot of valuable knowledge that will only make be a better developer. I will not be throwing in the towel but giving it my all to understand and take full advantage of the TMP program. The learning curve is steep and the time relatively short but this is what it is like in the world. Things will not wait for you but rather you have to go out and grab them.
