I'm going to be frank, at the cost of being rude. Your "why medium?" paragraph doesn't answer the question why medium at all. If I were to guess, it should have read "Why medium? Because I want to get paid for my writing." Which is totally fair by the way, and I would have appreciated the straightforward reason rather than the word salad that was put there.

Agreed, usually if someone wants to share something really meaningful the migration direction is exactly opposite.
