Two levers, one machine: getting found and getting replies

Two levers, one machine: getting found and getting replies

Most solo operators I know are stuck on the same two doors at once:

Door one: the marketplace finds you. Your listings sit on page nine while worse products sell — not because yours are worse, but because the title uses your words instead of the buyer's search words, and the 13 tags are guesses.

Door two: you find the buyers. Your cold emails land in inboxes that never asked for them, open with a line that could be sent to anyone, and die in four seconds — or bounce, which quietly burns your domain.

People treat these as two businesses. They're two levers on the same machine, and levers multiply: a shop that fills while you sleep, plus a pipeline that fills while you work.

Run both levers this week, by hand

  • Listing lever (25 min): rebuild one title from buyer's search phrases, make all 13 tags different doors (no repeats of the title), put the promise in the first two lines of the description.
  • Outreach lever (30 min): collect 30 local businesses in your niche, verify each email before sending, score them A-D, and write each opener from one true fact about that business.

Both run fine with free ChatGPT and a spreadsheet. That's the honest version: prompts + SOPs first, automation optional.

What I packaged

I combined the two systems I sell separately ($19 + $27) into one bundle — 45 prompts total — for $29, with a free 5-prompt starter (3 listing prompts + 2 opener prompts) you can run tonight in about 30 minutes:

Comments check: which door is shut for you right now — not being found, or not getting replies? The fix order matters, and it starts with naming the shut door.
