Hope For Children

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - June Celebrations, Perfect Landing: June Celebrations

What I Built

This landing page is dedicated to raising awareness and soliciting donations to combat child labor. The main message, "End Child Labor: Protect Their Future," is prominently displayed.

The celebration highlighted by the landing page is not a typical celebratory event like a holiday or festival. Instead, it highlights the "celebration" of childhood and potential, which child labor robs from millions of children. The page focuses on the positive outcome of their efforts: "give every child the chance to thrive," which implies a future where children are free to learn, play, and grow, rather than being forced into labor. It's a call to action to restore and celebrate the fundamental rights and potential of every child.

Journey

My process? Think less "grand plan" and more "typing furiously while muttering to myself, convinced a rogue semicolon was actively sabotaging my efforts." I learned the internet's full of great tutorials, but also error messages that make you want to yell at your screen. And while AI wrote most of the text, it still can't make my coffee – a serious oversight!

But what am I proudest of? I CODED IT! ALONE! Mostly! I wrestled the hosting and battled domain name demons, all with my own brilliant lines of code, and got this bad boy live. My brain feels like it just ran a marathon while solving a Rubik's Cube blindfolded, and yet, I didn't succumb to the "it works on my machine" developer curse. Pure triumph!

Next? A brain nap, then maybe figuring out how to make that "Donate Now" button spontaneously generate pizza. A developer can dream!
