How I Built My First Interactive Mini-Game Platform with HTML, CSS & JavaScript

Hi Dev.to community! ๐Ÿ‘‹

As a frontend developer, I wanted to build something fun, engaging, and interactive to practice my skills[cite: 1]. That's how KiddoLearn was bornโ€”a web-based platform featuring a collection of mini-games designed to make learning and brain training enjoyable[cite: 1].

๐Ÿš€ What is KiddoLearn?

KiddoLearn is a lightweight, responsive web application built using pure frontend technologies. It features multiple interactive games in one place, allowing users to test their skills in math, memory, and vocabulary[cite: 1].

๐ŸŽฎ Featured Mini-Games:

  • Math Quiz: Fast-paced addition and subtraction challenges to sharpen calculation skills.
  • Memory Match: A card-matching cognitive game to test and improve memory.
  • Word Scramble: Engaging word puzzles equipped with smart hints[cite: 1].
  • Grammar Master: Sentence completion quizzes to practice language basics.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Tech Stack Used:

  • HTML5 & CSS3 (Styled with Tailwind CSS for a modern, clean UI)[cite: 1]
  • JavaScript (Vanilla) for game logic, interactivity, and dynamic elements[cite: 1]
  • Netlify for fast and reliable deployment[cite: 1]

๐ŸŒ Check it out!

I would love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or ideas on how I can improve the gameplay and UI. Let me know what you think in the comments below! ๐Ÿš€
