Went to a 4S shop yesterday to get my car serviced. The line was super long, so I ended up just sitting in the lounge doing nothing.
They had a few public-use computers, so I fired up my retro gaming site and played some old-school arcade games to pass the time.
Then it hit me — what if I set my site as the homepage on this computer? Free exposure to bored people stuck waiting? Yes please.
My site runs classic arcade/NES-style games right in the browser. Totally casual, perfect for killing time. Felt like a great match for the setting.
So... I went into the browser settings and added a default tab that opens my site automatically. 😎
No idea how many people will actually click, but hey, sometimes marketing is just about being in the right place at the right time.
