I’ve worked on quite a few websites where the initial focus was simply, “make it look good.”
That usually isn’t enough.
A website can have a great design and still struggle if it loads slowly, isn’t easy to use on mobile, has messy code, or makes it difficult for search engines to understand the content.
From my experience, web development and SEO are much more connected than people sometimes realise.
When we work on a website, we look at things like performance, responsive design, clean development, technical SEO, page structure and the overall user journey. The goal isn’t just to launch another website. It should actually help the business get enquiries, traffic or conversions.
Our team also works across web development, SEO and digital marketing, mobile development, and PHP development, depending on what a project needs.

One thing I’ve found particularly useful is getting developers and SEO people involved early rather than trying to fix SEO problems after a website has already been built.
Curious how other developers here approach SEO and performance during the development stage?
