Zooming is smooth on big folders. The icon and list views used to build every item — C:\Windows\System32 (5 001 files) in XL icons froze the window. They now build only what is on screen. A wheel spin applies once instead of once per notch, and switching view rebuilds the list a single time. Thumbnails are no longer re-fetched at a new size for every zoom step.
