Changing the mouse cursor on Windows is a small thing that is annoyingly opaque: a pack gives you a folder of .cur and .ani files, the Settings page shows one preview at a time, and you find out what the "text select" or "precision select" cursor looks like after you have already applied the scheme.
So I drew all seventeen roles from the real files, side by side, before anything is applied.
Seventeen open-source schemes come with it (Bibata, macOS, XCursor Pro, GoogleDot, Windows Modern, Material Design, Qogir), and a pack you downloaded is imported by dropping its .zip on the window. One button puts the Windows defaults back.
One 144 KB file, no installer, no admin rights, no telemetry, MIT licensed.

The side-by-side preview is valuable because the awkward roles (precision select, unavailable, resizing) are the ones you never see in a pack thumbnail. Does the ZIP import validate role names and hotspot coordinates before applying a scheme? A malformed .cur with an off-canvas hotspot can make a perfectly drawn pointer feel broken even if the pixels look right in the preview.
