Every age has something special, and our age is the age of computers and the internet. Technology is becoming more important every day, but not everyone has the same opportunities to learn about it.
In Yemen, many people around me don’t know much about computers. When I try to explain the importance of learning computer skills, some of them think it is not important. They don’t realize how many opportunities these skills can offer, especially if they travel outside Yemen. There are many opportunities in Gulf countries, and technology skills can also help people find new paths in education and work.
In my opinion, universities in my country are not always the best option for getting the education I want. This is one reason why I am interested in learning online and finding other ways to develop my skills.
However, learning online was not always easy in Yemen. The internet was slow, and this made it difficult for many people to access courses and educational resources. Imagine trying to learn programming when your internet connection makes it difficult to watch a lesson or practice what you have learned!
Thankfully, Starlink has made internet access easier for some people, including those living in mountainous areas where getting a good connection can be difficult. This can make a real difference for people who want to learn but don’t have many educational resources around them🤍🤍.

As for me, I am learning programming using my iPad😅. I know it is not the perfect device for this journey, but I don’t want to wait until I have everything I need.
I believe that learning starts when we decide to take the first step. We may not have the best devices, the fastest internet, or the best educational opportunities, but we can still try to improve our situation with the resources available to us.
I am still at the beginning of my journey, and I have a lot to learn. But I hope that one day I can look back and feel proud that I started, even when the circumstances were not perfect🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
