On my side, I don't post on my native language. But, I enjoy reading posts in Portuguese for example (I'm learning it). I can practice my reading skills and learn the tech vocab in the meantime. So Portuguese writers, keep doing it

 

Do it. Don't worry about the feed. Creating content in other languages can be a great help to people who don't speak english.

 

Yes. In a sense, the feed is "polluted" anyway – by topics that aren't interesting for a particular user X.

 

I have to disagree with that. I'm always finding good stuff on the feed

 

There's plenty of authors posting in languages other than English already. You can configure some languages you want to see in your feed in Settings -> Misc -> Languages. The feature is still in an early stage, but in the future authors may have the chance to set the language for their posts so that they are only shown to users who have configured that language.

 

Nice! I didn't know about this feature.
