The topic of Automation Soft Skills focuses on an integral aspect of IT, particularly within Software Applications Testing. It targets individuals who are either preparing to embark on a career in Test Automation, seeking to enhance their skill set with Automation, or aiming to excel further in this field.

As the world increasingly prioritizes automation, efficiency, and the ability to accomplish more with fewer resources, it has become a crucial component across all fields, not just Software QA. Therefore, I emphasize the importance of understanding fundamental concepts necessary to develop automation soft skills and empower the workforce. With this intention, I outline the following soft skills essential for Test Automation enthusiasts to excel in this domain and, more broadly, in any field of significance.

In this context, I identify five major categories that the workforce needs to focus on, in addition to technical skills.

i) Envision yourself exploring the boundaries of the topic you are about to work on.
ii) Consider the problem statement from various perspectives.
