After announcing the new XRPL Accelerator in April, the program has officially kicked off with the first cohort of projects and startups. Following a rigorous selection process, 9 exciting projects have been chosen to participate in the inaugural cohort of the 12-week program, dedicated to supporting and empowering builders on the XRP Ledger.

The XRPL Accelerator is designed to help entrepreneurs building on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) scale and succeed. As part of the initiative, selected teams receive a $50,000 program grant, gain valuable insights from industry-leading mentors, refine their product-market fit, and enjoy the opportunity to connect with investors and potential partners.
Enabling Pioneers in the XRPL Community
Dedicated to supporting the pioneers who are building scalable projects on the XRPL, the Accelerator program is actively engaged in equipping early-stage teams with the necessary skills, resources, and benefits to expedite their efforts in delivering utility and value. Through utilizing SMART Goals and a tailored 360-degree analysis of the business model and product proposition of each project, this customized program helps participating teams in develop a refined and actionable strategy blueprint to master their unique growth challenges.
Funding Opportunities
The XRPL Accelerator culminates in a closing Demo Day where participating teams benefit from the guidance of a growing pool of partner investors. With established investors such as Shima Capital, Dispersion Capital and Blockchain Founders Fund already involved, teams will have the opportunity to understand what is necessary to secure equity investment. This platform enables teams to showcase their progress, elicit advice from potential investors, and further fuel their growth and development.
Curriculum Overview
Over the course of the twelve weeks, the curriculum takes participants on a transformative journey towards building scalable projects on the XRP Ledger. It begins with an introductory session, followed by weeks dedicated to designing their business, refining strategies, and working alongside expert mentors. Personalized one-to-one sessions address specific challenges and optimize product-market fit from the outset.
Participating teams are able to work with program partners such as MING Labs, LegalNodes, and Myosin. Project roadmaps and an immersive legal workshop follow, refining strategies and addressing compliance considerations. Week eight focuses on tokenomics design paving the way for sustainable growth.
Pitch training and learning from seasoned investors become the focus in the penultimate weeks, equipping participants with communication skills and customer engagement strategies. The final week culminates with Demo Day preparation which includes fine-tuning presentations, receiving feedback, and building confidence to impress investors. The program concludes with an exciting on-site in London and Amsterdam, with the Demo Day set to take place during APEX Dev Summit.

xrp.cafe is the leading NFT marketplace on the XRP Ledger. The platform aims to become as big as OpenSea, Magic Eden, and the biggest players in the industry. To achieve this, xrp.cafe plans to become the easiest NFT marketplace in the space, empowering both Web2 and Web3 users alike, and serving as a catalyst for mass adoption to the XRP Ledger. The marketplace also plans to expand into various enterprise application verticals to broaden its impact and reach.
Chimoney
Chimoney's flagship product, Unispend, is a multichain crypto-to-commerce protocol available on XRPL and as an embedded dApp on XUMM. This protocol empowers users to seamlessly spend their XRP and other issued tokens directly from preferred wallets like XUMM. Furthermore, Chimoney provides developers with the tools to integrate utility features into their apps, wallets, and dApps. This is made possible with cross-token payment and by offering access to a vast array of products, including over 500 million products from Amazon and Shopify, plus more than 1000 gift cards, mobile money, and other remittance options. GemWallet offers a web-based cryptocurrency wallet for the XRP Ledger that enables fast and secure payments directly from the browser, along with the ability to engage with NFTs and create token-gated communities. The wallet primarily caters to developers creating Web3 applications on the XRPL, but also offers a user-friendly interface for end-users looking to interact with the XRPL. Additionally, GemWallet provides educational resources and developer templates to assist individuals who are new to blockchain technology.
Kudos
Kudos provides a unique system for distributing rewards to participants, utilizing a non-custodial XRPL identity wallet application. Users or companies can allocate a monthly stipend to contributors, proportionate to the Kudos they have generated during the month. With an initial emphasis on open source developers, Kudos aims to recognize and incentivize their often-underappreciated contributions. To facilitate easy and seamless payments, the company introduces a directory service that effortlessly connects social identities with XRPL addresses, enabling smooth transactions between users utilizing their existing social identities.
NIR-Watchdog
NIR-Watchdog is a quality control solution that utilizes Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) along with machine learning and blockchain technology to accurately identify and register deviations Its purpose is to authenticate materials and prevent economic losses caused by tampering and counterfeiting. The solution primarily targets B2B clients who are dealing with counterfeit issues.
Droplinked
Droplinked is a platform focused on decentralized commerce and aims to empower companies, creators, and customers to earn together. Their protocol provides decentralized inventory management and sales tracking, allowing authenticated retailers, marketplaces, and dApps to take advantage of these features. Droplinked serves as a Web3 commerce enabler for both consumers and enterprises.
