What changed Web Search on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore reached general availability on 19 June 2026, announced at the AWS New York Summit as a managed target for AgentCore Gateway. On 19 August 2026 AWS added runtime domain filtering — an agent can narrow results to trusted sources, or block unwanted domains, "on a per-call basis". Published-date filtering landed in the same update, constraining results to a window using inclusive from and to date bounds. The domain cap rose to 100 domains per list, with new gateway-level allowlist support so the constraint can be enforced centrally.
