Fugu is not a monolithic model. It is a learned multi-agent orchestration system — a language model trained to route tasks across a fixed pool of open and specialised models, and to recursively call instances of itself. Sakana reports Fugu Ultra v2 scoring 74.3 on DeepSWE and 48.3 on Chartography, and says it is best or joint-best on five of eight benchmarks (GDP.pdf, Chartography, SWEFish, DeepSWE, Toolathon), top-two on seven of eight.
