COSS Weekly: Toyota invests in TIER IV, Ricoh invests in Weaviate, Databricks tops 80% revenue growth, and more

This week in COSS: Databricks reported annualized revenue of $6.9 billion — up over 80% year-over-year — and announced plans to acquire Panther, an AI SOC platform, further expanding its security lakehouse ambitions. Toyota took a 1% stake in autonomous driving startup TIER IV with a technology collaboration MoU; Ricoh invested in vector database startup Weaviate through its RICOH Innovation Fund; and Ant Group's international arm is reportedly considering a $1 billion fundraise.
