Announcing the First Ever State of React Survey

I launched the first State of JavaScript survey back in 2016, in the hopes that the data collected could help guide all the developers who, like me, were struggling to find their way through the JavaScript jungle.

Coincidentally (or maybe not?), at the time I was also taking my first steps with React and trying to figure out this relatively new ecosystem.

In the 7 years since, I've gotten much more at east with React. Even so, I've never managed to completely silence that little voice in the back of my head whispering that maybe, just maybe, I was actually doing it all wrong…

A New Era of React

So now that we're on the verge of a major evolution of the library with Server Components and Server Actions, it felt like the right time to launch the first ever State of React survey.

The survey is broken down into three main sections.

First, the features section will help us know not only which essential React APIs people actually like or not; but also which of the newly announced features developers are most excited to try out.

Then, the libraries section will be key to know not only which libraries are used the most, but also which ones developers actually enjoy using.

Finally, the rest of the survey includes questions about how you use React, which resources you consult, and who you are.

Take the Survey

If that sounds interesting at all, then why not take the survey? It won't take long, and the resulting data will be invaluable to the community!

First of all, thanks for all the state of X surveys, they seem to be super useful.
Is there an ETA for this years React and other surveys?
Thank you!
