Apple has announced a change to the commission structure for the Taiwan App Store storefront. Effective October 31, 2026, the commission rate for standard In-App Purchase and paid app transactions on iOS and iPadOS will be reduced to 26%, down from the previous 30%.
Developers are required to accept the revised Apple Developer Program License Agreement to support these policy changes. While the new rate takes effect on October 31, signing the agreement by that date is not required to receive the benefit of the lower commission rate. Translated versions of the updated agreement will be available on the Apple Developer portal within the next month.
