Apple has launched a Developer Preview for Siri AI, allowing developers to integrate their apps into the new conversational intelligence system using App Intents.
Key Technical Updates:
- App Intents: Bring content and custom actions directly into Siri AI.
- Spotlight Integration: Surface any entity in the Spotlight semantic index beyond existing schemas.
- Complex Skills: Teach Siri AI to chain multiple actions into a single user experience.
- Availability: iOS 27.3, iPadOS 27.3, macOS 27.3, and visionOS 27.3 betas.
Developers can now leverage personal context understanding and onscreen awareness to create more proactive app experiences. Apple is hosting dedicated Apple Intelligence Group Labs on November 4–5 for technical support and integration advice.
