Retired Software Geek at Wherever and whenever I want

FORTRAN, Basic, Apple|| [Basic, 6502 assembler, Forth, Pascal, AppleScript, DOS Card - 80XX assembler, C], COBOL, AFOLDS, php, sql, Ada, Java (just another version of Ada!), Ruby, RoR and probably a few more I forgot about. Just a generalist.

Refactoring a few Rails applications that have been around since Rails 1.0 and are now unto 6.x. Getting rid of jQuery, mainly with Stimulus

Again I'm retired but:

I'm the Quartermaster (Think CFO or Accountant) of a Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post. Didn't like GNUCash so I wrote my own version of a web-based double entry accounting system I call RCash.

I took up Golf about 40 years ago and ended up being the guy who kept up with the scores and computed Quotas/Handicaps. Didn't like SpreadSheets so I started with a PHP/Mysql web app in the early 90's that has been trough a few languages and is currently in Rails 6.x.
