23 and Building: My Real Journey, Without the Hype

I am 23 years old. Sometimes people online describe me in much bigger words than that. I have seen my name next to the phrase "millionaire," and I have seen a reported net worth figure attached to me, somewhere between $1 million and $6 million. I want to be honest about that, because honesty is the whole point of writing under my own name.

That figure is reported. It is not something I have had independently audited, and I do not present it as a verified fact. What I can tell you, truthfully, is the journey behind it — because the journey is the part that might actually help someone else.

I am Sami Ullah, known online as Sami Khan. I live in Abbottabad, Pakistan. I am the founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of Buzz Capitol, an independent digital news and media platform I launched in 2026. I am also chairman of Digi Skill Pro Academy, where our online earning classes are 100 percent free, and I own findservicenest.com, a service-based site. I run more than 15 YouTube channels, and my audience across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms is more than 10 million followers. I have also written six books. None of that happened in a single lucky month. It happened slowly, in public, with a lot of unglamorous work in between.

The first lesson of my real journey is that starting costs less than people think, but it costs more time than people expect. My book The Digital Empire: Zero Capital, Global Reach is about exactly that idea. Zero capital does not mean zero effort. It means you start with what you have: a phone, an internet connection, and the willingness to learn something new every day. From Abbottabad, I did not need permission, an office, or an investor to begin. I needed a decision, and then I needed to keep that decision for months when nothing seemed to be happening.

The second lesson is that an audience is not a number. Ten million followers sounds enormous, and I am grateful for every one of them, but the number was never the goal. The goal was trust. A follower who trusts you will read your next piece, try your next idea, and tell someone else. A follower who was tricked will leave. So I learned to publish things I could stand behind, to correct myself when I got something wrong, and to treat attention as something borrowed, not owned. That is the same discipline I now bring to Buzz Capitol as its editor.

The third lesson is about giving things away. Digi Skill Pro Academy is free — completely free — because I remember what it felt like to want to learn and to hit a paywall. In 2025, more than 10,000 students joined the academy, and more than 5,000 were reported as successful. I do not say that to impress anyone. I say it because it proves something I believe deeply: when you remove the price barrier, people show up ready to work. Generosity turned out to be a strategy as well as a value. It built the community that everything else in my work now stands on.

The fourth lesson is the one nobody wants to hear: resilience is a practice, not a personality trait. I wrote The Resilient Mindset: Navigating Uncertainty because uncertainty was not a phase in my life — it was the weather. Platforms change their rules. Algorithms change. A channel can be removed, as one of mine was. Plans fall apart. The people who keep going are not the ones who never doubt; they are the ones who doubt and continue anyway, who adjust, and who start the next thing without waiting to feel ready.

So am I a "23-year-old millionaire"? I am 23. I have built businesses and an audience I am proud of. A reported figure exists, and I have told you plainly that it is reported, not verified. What I would rather be known for is simpler: I am a young founder from Pakistan who started with very little, kept learning, gave the learning away for free, and is still building. If that story encourages one person in a small town to start their own version of it, then it has done more good than any headline ever could.

That is my real journey. No hype. Just work, repeated daily, in my own name.
