Hey DEV π
Iβve been building ActionNote.io, an AI meeting summarizer designed to turn meeting conversations into something people can actually use afterward.
The problem Iβm trying to solve is simple:
A meeting ends, and everyone remembers the discussion differently.
Then come the usual questions:
- What exactly did we decide?
- What are the action items?
- Who owns each action?
- What is still unresolved?
- What needs to be followed up?
Most meeting tools can generate transcripts and summaries.
With ActionNote, Iβm exploring something slightly more structured:
Meeting β Summary β Decisions β Action Items β Owners β Follow-up
The goal is to turn a meeting into clear, actionable notes instead of just producing another block of AI-generated text.
ActionNote currently focuses on extracting things such as:
- Key discussion points
- Meeting summary
- Decisions made
- Action items
- Owners
- Important insights
- Risks or unresolved items
- Follow-up topics
Itβs still an early version, and this is exactly the stage where I want real feedback before building too much around assumptions.
So Iβm looking for people who are willing to try it with an actual meeting.
π Try ActionNote: https://actionnote.io
Iβd especially love feedback on these three questions:
- What did ActionNote capture well?
- What important information did it miss or misunderstand?
- Would you actually use this output after a meeting?
If the answer to the third question is no, Iβd love to know why.
That feedback is probably more valuable to me right now than adding another feature.
Thanks to anyone willing to try it and share feedback.
