Same as it ever was

I’m thinking about AI this morning, which got me thinking about the Industrial Revolution, robotics, and yes, even the internet.

The story is always the same. Every major shift gets framed as either a collapse or a utopia. In reality, it redistributes leverage. The technology changes. The human problems don’t.
